Congratulations and welcome, new Auks! We are delighted that you have decided to join our community, and we look forward to journeying with you over the next few years and beyond. This website includes some important resources for you and your family.
Please review the contents and make note of the deadlines for those items that must be completed and sent back to Archmere. We also have many events scheduled for you and your parents as we welcome our newest Auks! We will be sure to reach out with any updates to the calendar.

Who should I contact for specific questions?

Where do I find out about books and textbooks?
Books can be ordered online AFTER students receive their schedules. Detailed information will be included with each student’s schedule. Textbook information will also be available on the My Archmere portal. Please note: for Pennsylvania residents, Archmere offers the PA Book Program and detailed information will be emailed to all Pennsylvania students with their schedules. -
Do I need to purchase school supplies?
Generally, students need a notebook for each class, as well as pens and pencils. Teachers will provide specific lists of any additional supplies on the first day of school. Please note: All students are required to purchase a TI 84 Plus calculator (TI 84 Plus CE is preferred, but Plus Silver Edition is also acceptable). Calculators are available at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, etc. Pennsylvania students may be able to secure a calculator through the PA Book Program. -
How do I select my world language and elective choice and find information on courses?
Your Elective and World Language Choice Form is due by May 7. Please contact Mr. Dougherty, Director of Academics, to answer questions regarding registration and scheduling policies and practices.

Schedules will be emailed out to incoming and returning students alike in early August. Mr. Tim Dougherty does his best to meet each student’s scheduling requests. -
How do I purchase school uniforms?
Uniforms can be purchased at Flynn & O’Hara at www.flynnohara.com. Students are required to wear uniforms for the first day of school. Flynn & O’Hara representatives will be on campus at the May 7th Spring Orientation. Save the Date - Orientation Measuring Event May 7

How do I see Summer Reading lists?
The updated summer reading lists will be posted to the Parent and Student Resouces pages in MyArchmere. -
I am planning on playing a fall sport. Where do I get more information?
Students can learn more about fall sports by visiting www.aukssports.com and select your sport for more information.
All student athletes must have their Magnus Health form and concussion test confirmation for Student Eligibility completed online by August 1.

The U.S. Secretary of Education announced the selection of Luke Merritt, senior at Archmere Academy, as a Semifinalist for recognition as a 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar. Pitcher Riley Schultz '25 Leads Baseball to Win over Concord
On April 16th the Archmere baseball team played Concord High School under the lights at Frawley Stadium. The game started off on a slower pace, with Reece O’Halloran '28 as the lone baserunner in the first three innings. The Raiders, who entered the game undefeated, finally broke through in the fourth, but Archmere quickly answered. Reece once again hit a single and then scored, with the help of a hit by pitcher Riley Schultz '25.Read More -
Archmere Students Attend the Annual Youth in Government Conference
13 Archmere students attended the annual Youth in Government (YIG) conference in Dover, DE from April 4-6. Over 3 days, students in the judicial branch argued/heard a case as both attorneys and judges, students in the legislative branch wrote and advocated for bills in the House and Senate chambers, and students acted as lobbyists as well as ran a press corps that publicized and covered the whole conference.Read More -

Men's Volleyball Wins Sixth Straight Match in a Row
Read MoreThe Archmere volleyball team overcame a late deficit in the first set and battled Christiana point for point over the next two sets in a 3-0 sweep in boys volleyball on April 7th at home in the Moglia Fieldhouse. Set scores were 26-24, 25-18, and 25-22 as the Auks won their sixth straight match in a row.
