    Six Lives Exercise

Science Building - Science Lecture Hall - SLH
The College Counselors invite ninth and tenth graders to begin an optional discussion about their future after Archmere, particularly in relation to careers. Students will be challenged to define what success in the future might look like by completing the Six Lives Exercise from G. Richard Shell's book Springboard: Launching Your Personal Search for Success. This exercise was designed to help students think outside of the box in regards to careers beginning with what makes them happy and how they define success rather than focusing on specific careers.

    Senior Retreat and Graduation Practice

The Senior Retreat takes place WEDNESDAY MAY 29.  All seniors are required to attend. Students should plan on being on retreat until 2:30 pm.

As one of the final activities that the seniors share as a class, the Senior Retreat is a truly wonderful experience. Mr. Tom Mengers, the Campus Minister, organizes the retreat each year and provides additional details to seniors prior to the day.

Commencement practice takes place on the day of the Senior Retreat. Students can expect practice to last for approximately one hour. Attendance is mandatory for graduating seniors and underclassmen helpers.

Any senior who misses this practice must have provided advanced notice and received permission to be absent. Unexcused absence from practice may result in the senior not receiving a diploma at graduation.

Caps and gowns are distributed during Graduation Practice

Helpers who do not attend will not be permitted to help on Sunday at Graduation and will need a ticket to attend.
