Archmere Academy is a Catholic, Norbertine college preparatory school, valuing community, respect, zeal, reverence, and wisdom. Nurturing body and soul, mind and heart, Archmere focuses on the whole person through academic excellence, faith reflection, social development, and service to others. Inspired by its heritage, Archmere cultivates empathetic leaders- young men and women prepared for every good work.

Since opening its doors in 1932, Archmere Academy is known for its rigorous academic program.   • Boys Basketball Holds on to Defeat Newark Charter

    After falling behind, the Archmere boys basketball team rallied for a 52-48 win over Newark Charter on December 14th in a Diamond State Athletic Conference matchup. The game, played on the road at Newark, was a back and forth match from the very beginning. In the first quarter, Charlie Malloy '25 made a technical free throw, and the Auks were able to tie the game on a layup, setting the stage for the rest of the evening.

  • Jason Suydam on the Top 3 podium

    Wrestling Team Starts Season off with Five Wrestlers in Top 8 at Milford Invitational

    On December 9th, the wrestling team opened their season with a Tri-Meet at home against Saint Elizabeth's and Newark Charter. The team was victorious over both teams, with scores against St. Elizabeth 63-12, and Newark Charter 48-30.

  • Girls Basketball Shuts Down Tatnall's Comeback for the Win

    Archmere built a big first-quarter lead, then withstood a few comeback attempts to earn a 46-33 win over Tatnall on December 10th at home in the Moglia Fieldhouse. Bridget Malloy '26 opened up the game for the Auks, scoring on a layup following an offensive rebound, and ended the night with 18 points total. In the first quarter, Anaya Mungin '28 turned defense into offense by draining a big three-point shot after a teammate’s steal. A minute later, she was fouled while attempting a three, and made all three free throws, setting the stage for her own big night of 16 total points.
