Our Mission
Archmere Academy is a Catholic, Norbertine college preparatory school, valuing community, respect, zeal, reverence, and wisdom. Nurturing body and soul, mind and heart, Archmere focuses on the whole person through academic excellence, faith reflection, social development, and service to others. Inspired by its heritage, Archmere cultivates empathetic leaders- young men and women prepared for every good work.

Since opening its doors in 1932, Archmere Academy is known for its rigorous academic program. The academic disciplines foster critical thinking skills, strengthen analytical reasoning, and foster intellectual creativity through each department. Parents and caregivers choose Archmere for their children because choosing our door opens others. Students choose Archmere because of the opportunities available to them.
We strive to inspire students to challenge themselves, think critically, and ultimately reach their greatest potential. Varsity Basketball Remains Undefeated with Win over Brandywine
Archmere senior Charlie Malloy scored 18 points, "several when his team needed them the most", as Archmere remained undefeated with a 53-48 win over the Bulldogs on Wednesday, January 8th. Junior John Orsini scored 14 and Ryan Hagenberg added 10 as the Auks competed against Brandywine at home in the Moglia Fieldhouse.Read More
