  Christopher Boehm

  Bio

  Chris Boehm accepted the director of college counseling position at Archmere in the summer of 2014 after 17 years of work in college admissions, most recently as the vice president for enrollment and director of admission at Albright College. He’s completed two three-year terms as a national assembly delegate for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), served on the NACAC Professional Development Committee, and also served as Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling’s (PACAC) Government Relations Committee Chair & Public Advocacy Director. In 2022 he was selected by NACAC to co-direct their online professional certificate program in Coordinating a Dynamic Post-Secondary School Counseling Program. In 2012, he was recognized by PACAC with their William R. McClintick, Jr. Service Award, one of the Association’s highest honors. 

  
  Chris is presently serving a term on the University of the Pacific’s, Northeastern University, and University of Lynchburg’s Counselor Advisory Board. He also coordinates the biannual College Counseling Roundtable at Villanova University which attracts as many as 80 high school counseling professionals.

  Catherine Reigner

  Bio

  Catherine Reigner works as the Associate Director of College Counseling at Archmere Academy in Claymont, DE since July of 2014.  In 2022, Catherine also joined the History Department as a part-time teacher.  Before joining the Archmere community, she worked in college admissions at Muhlenberg College, Albright College, and Lehigh University.  In May 2019, she earned her Masters degree at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA in their Educational Leadership Program. Originally from Northern California, Catherine moved to the East Coast to attend Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in History along with a Secondary Education Certification in Social Studies in 2010. Catherine is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC), previously serving as the co-chair of the Professional Development Committee, chair of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion subcommittee, Faculty for Summer Institute, co-chair of the Mainline Workshops.  She has presented several times at a variety of programs and conferences for PACAC, NACAC, and PCACAC.  Additionally, Catherine is a member of the Brandywine High School ASCA Advisory Council and previously served on the local advisory counselor board for the University of Delaware and was elected for a three-year term to the College Board Regional Middle States Regional Council.

  Logan Duffie 

  Associate Director of Admissions; College Counselor

  Bio

  Mr. Duffie is joining the College Counseling Team after nearly 10 years in college admission working at Ursinus College and Widener University recruiting both regionally and nationally. Mr. Duffie has evaluated well over 10,000 applications and essays and conducted countless interviews during his time in college admission and most enjoyed the opportunity to learn about and meet new crops of students every year. In addition to his role in each school's admission department, he also recruited for and coached with the men's lacrosse programs at both Ursinus and Widener. Beyond each school's campus, Mr. Duffie has been a member of both PACAC and NACAC and has attended numerous conferences and professional development events. For the past two years, he has also served as the Associate Director of Admission at Archmere, so he is no stranger to the Archmere community. Mr. Duffie holds a BA in Economics from Ursinus College and a MEd from Widener University.

  Suzyn-Elayne Soler

  Bio

  Suzyn-Elayne Soler accepted the position of associate director of college counseling at Archmere Academy in the summer of 2022 after nineteen years in college admissions, most recently as an associate director at Allegheny College. Previously, she worked at the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University, Boston College, and Dartmouth College. Ms. Soler has presented on intergenerational work styles, Gen X / Gen Z / Millennial communication styles, and on transfer admission best practices at several Southern Association of College Admission Counseling (SACAC) conferences and workshops.  During the first-annual "Coming Together" of the Potomac and Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling (PCACAC) she led a session on wellness and self-care, and co-presented on disability advocacy and "Universal Design" during the main conference. Ms. Soler attended Boston University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, a certificate in Women’s Studies, and a Masters Degree in Administration, Policy, and Planning in Higher Education.

  Patricia Maher

  Bio

  After thirteen years in Archmere's English department, Mrs. Patricia Maher joined the College Counseling team in 2024 as an Assistant Director of College Counseling. In addition to her two decades in the classroom, she previously worked at Villanova University as an Assistant Director of Admissions, recruiting and reviewing applications of students from Pennsylvania and Delaware. In subsequent years, she continued her involvement with college admissions by interviewing Villanova scholarship candidates and serving as an auxiliary application reader for the Villanova Office of University Admission. In addition, she serves as an essay editor with Chicago-based Riley Baker Educational Consulting. Mrs. Maher is currently enrolled in the UCLA College Counseling Certificate program and anticipates completing the certificate program in 2025. Mrs. Maher received her BA in English from Villanova University and her MA in English from Georgetown University.
