HOBY believes that all students have the potential to lead, and programming like CLeW brings students from different backgrounds, cultures, and communities together.
Grace and Sophia participated in a full day of leadership experiences designed to introduce participating students to the HOBY mission and connect students to peers in their community. Experienced included:
  • Participating in activities exploring leadership
  • Discovering your leadership skills and how to use them
  • Collaborating with other students from other Delaware high schools
  • Learning strategies to about make a positive impact in their school and community
HOBY Delaware was first started in 1977 with one of the country’s first State Leadership Seminars. With the help of the Delaware State Federation of Women’s Clubs, a service organization that continues to offer invaluable support to our programs, HOBY Delaware began making a difference in the lives of high school students.
