The Archmere Model Train and Hobbyist Club, started this fall by 9th grader Nolan Goldstein, has been working to create a train table to display for our upcoming Christmas events in the Patio. With volunteers from both the Delaware Seaside Railroad Club and the Nordel Model Railroad Club, our Archmere club members are hoping our school community can enjoy this holiday display for years to come. We thank Dr. Marinelli, Mr. Jordan, Mdme. Thiel, and our Board of Directors for all of their help and support with this project.
Current members include: Quinn McCormick, Ryan Finger, Ethan Goldstein, Michael Gilmore, Joey Cilluffo, Sunny Li, Nolan Goldstein, Christian Collins, Timmy Wheeler, and Richard Zhang. The Model Train and Hobbyist Club meets on Fridays at 2:40pm in Room 123. All are welcome - whether you are a past or current collector of trains, have artistic skills to lend, or simply have an interest in railroading and/or engineering - we need a variety of talents.
