On Saturday, March 1, the Archmere Science Olympiad team competed at the Delaware State Tournament, held at Cab Calloway. Both the A and B teams competed in the all-day tournament against 46 other teams. The Science Olympiad competition consists of a combination of tests and building events.

Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include life sciences, earth & space sciences, physical science & chemistry, technology & engineering and inquiry & nature of science. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.
