New Student Placement Test
SLC & SLH
Incoming students are invited to take placement exams in World Languages, Math, English, and/or Science. Students who elect not to take an exam will be placed in the college preparatory level of the respective courses. While students are testing, parents can attend a presentation on curriculum/scheduling.
**Please note that if your student has been approved extended time, their tests will begin at 8:00am. Please arrive by 7:45am for check-in.
Keep in mind: Parents should allow approximately one hour per each exam taken for transportation/pick-up scheduling purposes.

Here are the specific test times for students opting to take all four exams:
Math: 9:00am - 10:00am
Science: 10:00am - 11:00am
English: 11:00am - 12:00pm
World Language: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Please note, these are optional tests; any student not taking the exams will be placed in the college-preparatory level for core classes. If the student is not taking all four exams, they would be ready for pick up prior to 1:00pm (For example, if a student elects not to take the math placement, we would give them the science exam first and they would be ready to be picked up at noon, and so on).
