Model UN Students Fare Well at Ivy League Conference

Last weekend, 13 members of our Model UN club attended the 2025 Ivy League Model United Nations Conference (ILMUNC), hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. Students gathered with over 2,000 other delegates from across the United States and other parts of the world to address global issues, both past and present. Our delegates wrote directives, forged alliances, and collaborated and compromised with students from over 100 participating schools.
The club debated countless topics, including regulations on Nuclear Weapons, and even squeezed in a trip to the Reading Terminal Market!

Congratulations to Valentina Ramos ‘26 and Andres Ramos ‘26, who both won an Honorable Mention certificate for representing Mississippi in the US Senate specialized committee, where they debated how to handle Big Pharma and data privacy in the United States.

Fantastic job, Auks!
