Cross Country Competes at New Castle Championships, Gears Up for States this Weekend
At the New Castle County Cross Country Championships last weekend, the varsity girls team finished 5th, while the varsity boys finished 7th. The JV teams also had a great team effort as the girls finished 4th and the boys 5th. The meet, held at Winterthur Estate, hosted 25 teams from the New Castle area.
Assistant Coach and Archmere English teacher Mrs. Karen Linton was the overall female winner in the Coaches/Community race.
Congratulations to Helen Socorsco and Riley Horsey for earning All-County Honors and to Allie Perpiglia, Juliet Bridgman and Dylan Ferro for earning JV medals!
