Archmere Academy Defeats Tower Hill for Third Straight Win
The Archmere football team won against Mount Pleasant last Thursday with 28 points and they decided to stick to that point total again for Saturday's Homecoming game. The Auks defeated the Tower Hill Hillers 28-13 as the school celebrated Homecoming.
Senior Jack Bradley was his usual "excellent" self, rushing for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only 10 carries. Junior Johnny Orsini was another key player, throwing for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes.
Archmere defense picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of sophomores Justin Hartman and Frankie Morda. Morda is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory, which was the third in a row, raised their record to 6-1. In addition, the Auks improved to 2-0 in Class 2A District 2.
