Archmere Football Defeats DMA at Home

On Saturday, October 5, the Archmere football secured a 20-14 win over the Delaware Military Academy at home on Coaches' Field. Jack Bradley '25 rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on just six carries as the Auks, ranked second statewide in Class 2A, outlasted the sixth-ranked Seahawks. The score was tied 7-7 at the break, but the Auks were the better team in the second half.
Archmere took the lead on Wyatt Beekley’s '28 1-yard run in the first quarter. Then Bradley scored twice in the third quarter, on runs of 2 and 50 yards. The Seahawks pulled within six points, but couldn't get any closer.
 
Game highlights include:
- Jack Bradley '25 rushed 6 times for 107 yards and 2 TDs.  He accounted for 160 all purpose yards
- Christian Wittmeyer '25 had 8 tackles (4 solo) and rushed 7 times for 32 yards
- The offensive line allowed the Auks ground game to rush for 216 yards on 31 carries
- Justin Hartman '26 had 7 solo tackles
- Ryan Hagenberg '26 had a sack and a fumble recovery

Archmere will play against Mount Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
