Cheer Team Volunteers with "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer"

After the ceremony, the team cheered on and guided the walkers, offering encouragement and positivity as teams began and ended the walk. Making Strides events are held throughout the nation, but this local event aims to support people in the Delaware community by raising lifesaving funds to support breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers, and caregivers through every step of their journey. It also allows for young women like the cheer team to hear firsthand how they can take care of themselves and have a long and healthy future.
