Cast List Announced for Winter Musical, "Alice by Heart"
Auditions for the Archmere winter musical, Alice by Heart, wrapped up this month. The musical will run the first weekend in April. Alice by Heart is a modern spin on the Alice in Wonderland story with music and lyrics by Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening). The play takes place during World War II in London. Teenagers are trapped in an underground bunker after the bombings of London. Alice (who loves the Alice in Wonderland novel) takes her friend Alfred to Wonderland to escape the trauma of the war.
