Angela Zhang '26 and Ethan Flores '26 Attend Student Leadership Summit
This weekend, Angela Zhang '26 and Ethan Flores '26 had the incredible honor of attending the 2024 Business Professionals of America (BPA) Student Leadership Summit in Washington D.C. Alongside BPA leaders from across the nation, they engaged in impactful workshops and advocacy efforts.
As the only National Virtual Chapter members at the summit, Angela and Ethan represented students from all over the country. They put their advocacy training into action on Capitol Hill, where they met with staffers from Senator Christopher Coons and Representative Chrissy Houlahan. Advocating for Career and Technical Education, they emphasized the importance of supporting the Perkins grant and participating in the CTE Caucus to uplift CTSOs and professional development in underserved communities.
