Archmere Math League Teams Qualify for the State Invitational

Archmere's Math League teams competed in 4 regular season meets from October to February this year with excellent results.
The 9th grade team won each meet and placed 1st in the region with 72 points. Our students also placed in the top 3 spots individually, with Kevin Xiao in 1st place recording 19 points, Katelyn Pei in 2nd with 18 points and Kathrine Wang in 3rd with 17 points. The team placed 2nd in the entire state of Delaware, with Kevin in 3rd, Katelyn in 4th and Kathrine in 7th place in the state.
 
The 10-12th grade team also won each of their 4 meets, and won the region with 107 points. The next team was 11 points behind. Kabir Goyal was tied for a perfect score in every meet, with a total score of 24 points. Sophia Chen had the second highest score of 22 points, and Daniel Qi the third highest score of 19 points. Rebecca Wang's 15 points and Gavin Nguyen's 13 rounded out this powerhouse team.  The team won 2nd place among all teams in the state with Kabir in 1st place, and Sophia in 6th statewide.  
 
The teams are headed to the State Invitational in Dover on March 27th.
