Head of School

Head of School, Michael A. Marinelli, Ed.D '76 has announced his retirement after 15 years of service at the end of the 2025-26 school year. The Archmere Academy Board of Trustees is seeking a successor for Head of School and will be accepting applicants through the end of May.   • Full-Time Chemistry Teacher

    Archmere Academy seeks a Full-Time Chemistry Teacher beginning August 2025. An undergraduate degree in chemistry is required though a graduate degree is strongly preferred. Collaboration, innovation, organization, flexibility, and exceptional interpersonal skills are required. The successful candidate will primarily teach College Prep Chemistry and Honors Chemistry. Special consideration will be given to those candidates who have experience in computer science and/or physics.

  • Theology Teacher

    Archmere Academy is seeking a Theology Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year.

    Preferred Skills & Demonstrated Knowledge
    • An undergraduate degree in Theology from a Catholic college or seminary is ideal, though candidates who have completed closely-related studies will be considered.
    • A relevant graduate degree.
    • Competitive candidates will have prior teaching experience at the secondary level.
