Wrestling Competes at DIAA Independent Conference Championship
Last weekend the Archmere wrestling team competed at the DIAA Independent Conference Championships, held at Saint Mark’s. This meet was a State Qualifying Meet for the upcoming DIAA State Championships. Ten teams participated in the weekend long event.
Congratulations to our 4 wrestlers who placed in the top 8 of their weight class:
120 lbs, Jason Suydam placed 6th
144 lbs, Jimmy Buggy placed 2nd
150 lbs, Trevor Huffman placed 8th
157 lbs, Michael Burgo placed 6th
Juniors Jimmy Buggy and Jason Suydam will advance to the State Championships at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, DE, this upcoming weekend.
