Archmere Students Perform in Delaware All-State Theatre's production of "Monty Python's Spamalot"

Featuring the Best-of-Best young performers in the region, the Delaware All-State Theatre presented Monty Python's Spamalot, a musical comedy and a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian Legend adapted from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The show ran over two weekends this summer at the Laird Performing Arts Center at the Tatnall School. This year's show marked the eighth year that the non-profit venture produced a summer show starring Delaware area students who are chosen through auditions. Archmere's Keelin Reilly '17 played a principal role in the production as Sir Lancelot. Giavanna Mariano '18 worked on stage crew and Cateris Doran '17 performed as a featured dancer in the show's ensemble. The show sold out both weekends and received rave reviews from multiple news resources.

Schools represented also included Brandywine Springs, Cab Calloway, Caravel, Conrad Christ the Teacher, Delaware Military Academy, Elkton High, Kennett High, Las Americas ASPIRA Academy, Mount Pleasant, Padua, St. Mark's, Salesianum, Sanford, Tatnall, Ursuline and Wilmington Friends.
