Soprano Claire Caverly '15 is the National Winner in the MTNA Senior Voice Competition

Archmere Senior Claire Caverly traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, in March to compete as a National Finalist in the MTNA Senior Voice Competition, and was named the winner. Claire earned this opportunity after winning the Eastern Division of the Senior Voice competition, which took place on Sunday, March 22, during the MTNA National Conference. As the national winner of this competition, Claire received a cash prize and performed in a Winners Concert with her piano accompanist, Christine McCloskey, during the conference.

The three-tiered MTNA competitions begin at the state level. Winners of each State Competition advance to the division competition. Division winners then proceed to the National Competition Finals. Claire is a top ranking member of Delaware All State Chorus, a soloist with the Archmere Academy award winning Mastersingers, and sings with the Archmere Academy campus ministry program.
